I had a lovely older gentlemen contact me about the hum he's been getting from his guitar. When he told me it was a 335 I knew I had a challenge. It's a tedious job to get all the wiring components out of the instrument for inspection.
I found the problem and sorted the earthing issue. Now the super fiddly part of putting the components back in the guitar! Once everything was in its proper place, I had a good session test driving the guitar.
I did find a screw on one of the tuners that needed its hole packed with wood and PVA.
All in all it was a fun job to work on such a fine guitar.
